Cheltenham’s Christmas campaign
Cheltenham has a fantastic range of independent businesses, high-street favourites and a vibrant food, drink and entertainment scene. Supported by the BID, Marketing Cheltenham’s new campaign aims to promote this offering to local residents and would-be visitors via radio advertising and online and social media content this Christmas. New Christmas Lights
Organised by the BID and supported by Cheltenham Borough Council, Cheltenham is sparkling in a beautiful Christmas glow following the switch-on of the town’s new festive lights. Despite there being no official switch-on, the lights have received a great reception both online and offline. Read more.
BID Business of the Month- Santander
Santander on Cheltenham High Street has remained open throughout both lockdowns to provide their essential services to Cheltenham-based businesses and customers, all while raising over £2000 for charity. Read the full story here.
Something extra... • Aiming to promote visits to the town centre through a series of daily giveaway questions on 24 BID businesses, our Interactive Advent Calendar has gone down a storm on Facebook with over 80 cumulative entries as of Wednesday 9 December.
• The Christmas Spirit Trail is now live. Designed in collaboration with High Street Safari, the family-friendly trail is another BID initiative designed to encourage safe engagement with businesses across the town centre.
• Finally, a £1500 Cheltenham Gift Card prize is up for grabs in the Great Town and City Christmas Quiz, a new national competition where different towns across the UK and Ireland compete against each other. Help us get Cheltenham to the top of the leader board!
