Correction and share best practices during COVID-19

Register for the next On the Menu call on Thursday, Jan. 28, from 2 to 3 p.m. This call will focus on highlighting COVID-19 success stories and best practices. There is a correction to the number of meals served since the pandemic has started. Over 27 million meals (not 68 million) have been served over the last nine months. 

To share your successes and best practices in serving meals during COVID-19, send photographs that capture the incredible work that you are doing to Alicia Grove at grove_a@cde.state.co.us. Also, contact Alicia Grove at the same email address if  training accommodations such as speaker notes are needed, or call 720-795-2038.

Verification templates available

The verification notification and results letter templates are updated and available in English and Spanish. You can find the templates in the verification section of the School Meal Eligibility webpage. Templates can be tailored to include information specific to your program.

TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES

Tune into SNA's webinar on managing food allergies in a pandemic

Join the School Nutrition Association (SNA) for its webinar on School Nutrition, Food Allergies & Food Insecurity in the Pandemic on Wednesday, Dec. 16 at 1 p.m. In this session, speakers will review the basics of food allergy management during the pandemic based on expert guidance, the intersection of food insecurity and food allergies, and the school nutrition team's role. This webinar is free for SNA members and $20 for non-members.
