hello <<First Name>>

happy holiday season. thank you for following along with my work and my adventures. there's a lot to see and read online, especially as we have more time for that right now. so thanks for looking at what I see. it's been a year.

Tim Cormode is a good friend and mentor and he's at the helm of Power to Be "a non-profit organization that creates access to nature for youth, families, and adults living with cognitive, physical, financial, and social barriers."

it's a fantastic organization and I've donated one of my pieces to their auction. it's tucked between unreal experiences like: fishing in Haida Gwaii, hanging out on Fogo Island, round trips on Helijet, etc. please click here to check out the auction and bid as it ends this weekend!
interior designer Jamie Banfield included my work in his latest design magazine alongside other local artists. a really thoughtful inclusion as people look to purchase gifts for the holiday season. thanks Jamie
'billow' 54" x 36" 11 ed. is a new piece that I finished, wrapped up and shipped to Winnipeg in the last few weeks!

I'll be featuring more photos of it next time but I'm absolutely thrilled with how it turned out. it felt like I was still standing right there when I looked at the finished piece. goals!
this is a black and white image of the secret piece I mentioned in last month's studio news. the set designer was working on a slight Rothko theme for the set and came across my work. very exciting.

this piece is currently in the backdrop of a series filming in London, England, which you likely guessed from last month's clue. I look forward to sharing photos in the new year when the season airs here in North America.

your next clue: The New York Times just named the series one of the best 20 series of 2020

I finished another edition of 'stay gold' 48" x 32" 11ed. in the last few weeks. it's part of my 'in the woods' series. before shipping it off to Vancouver Island I was thinking about where I shot this photo.

on a commissioned shoot for a client, after getting the shot they needed I got the chance to sneak away for my own shoot. the mist rolls through that whole area, the Similkameen Valley, and it's spectacular, especially with the colours changing in the fall. such a beautiful place and I'll be heading back there when travel is an option again.
new work will be coming out in the new year! I'm very excited! a few different things and some things are the same (fog!).
