Lançamento de V de Vagem de Maria Daniela pela Douda Correria

A Zaratan tem o prazer de convidar para o lançamento de V de Vagem, 3º tomo de um tríptico de livros de poesia de Maria Daniela realizados através das técnicas de cut-up e blackout poetry partindo de páginas de obras de outros autores. Foi precedido por “Cona Cósmica” (2018) e por “O SAQUE A DESORDEM OS COMETAS” (2019), ambos também lançados pela editora Douda Correria.
Para finalizar esta série de trabalhos, a acompanhar o lançamento de V de Vagem, as páginas rasuradas dos livros originais estarão expostas na galeria. /// Zaratan is pleased to invite the launch of “V de Vagem”, 3rd volume of a triptych of poetry books by Maria Daniela made using cut-up and blackout poetry techniques from the pages of other authors' works. It was preceded by “Cona Cósmica” (2018) and by “SAQUE A DESORDEM OS COMETAS” (2019), both also released by the publisher Douda Correria.
To close this series of works, accompanying the launch of “V de Vagem”, the strikethrough pages of the original books will be displayed in the gallery.
The author and the editor will be present to introduce the publication.

MARIA DANIELA é antropóloga e desenhadora e por vezes escreve poemas através da técnica cut-up ou de outras práticas comummente associadas à magia do caos. Antes de “V de Vagem” [a partir de O Visível e o Invisível, Maurice Merleau-Ponty] editou 2 livros pela Douda Correria: “Cona Cósmica” (2018) [a partir de De Profundis, Oscar Wilde] e “O Saque, a Desordem, os Cometas” (2019) [a partir de Como se Faz uma Tese, Umberto Eco]. /// MARIA DANIELA is an anthropologist and designer. Sometimes she writes poems using cut-up technique or other practices commonly associated with the magic of chaos. Previously to “V de Vagem” [from “The Visible and the Invisible”, by Maurice Merleau-Ponty], she edited 2 books by Douda Correria: “Cona Cósmica” (2018) [from De Profundis, Oscar Wilde] and “O Saque, a Desordem, os Cometas” (2019) [from “How to Write a Thesis”, Umberto Eco].

DOUDA CORRERIA. Nascida em 2013, a Douda Correria tem uma linha editorial muito ténue, tão ténue que quase não se vê, uma linha que mais do que se ver pressente-se nos títulos que por paixão vai dando à estampa. No seu labirinto de afectos encontram-se autores de várias línguas, sendo o que de mais belo há neles a capacidade de inventar sua própria linguagem sem menosprezar a dos outros. É possível que nada disto faça sentido, é até desejável que nada disto faça sentido. Um cavalo alucinado também não faz sentido, no entanto galga e prossegue sob a espora. /// Born in 2013, Douda Correria has a very tenuous editorial line, so tenuous that it is almost impossible to see, a line that more than seeing itself can be seen in the titles that it is passionately giving to the printed matters. In its labyrinth of affections are authors of various languages, the most beautiful of which is the ability to invent their own language without belittling that of others. It is possible that none of this makes sense, it is even desirable that none of this makes sense. GRUPO EXCURSIONISTA AMIGOS DE CRONOS. Filipa Cordeiro fez parte da editora independente Urubu Tapes e actualmente integra o Grupo Excursionista Amigos de Cronos: trupe cujo rasto se perdeu no tempo, ou esboço para hermetic wave feito com voz, flauta e electrónica. /// Filipa Cordeiro was part of the independent label Urubu Tapes and is currently a member of Grupo Excursionista Amigos de Cronos (Travelling Group Friends of Chronos), a troupe whose traces were lost in time, or a first draft for hermetic wave made with voice, flute and electronics.

RESCUEFISH (In Jin Mi) é um artista visual coreana sediada em Seul. Começou a trabalhar na indústria cinematográfica como assistente de direção em 1996. Desde então participou em vários filmes com várias funções distintas: assistente, cenógrafa, até diretora principal no filme independente “Wealth and Honor”. Atualmente RESCUEFISH trabalha com diversos médias expressivos para desenvolver o seu trabalho artístico, tendo participado em várias exposições coletivas. Em 2015 obteve o apoio da Fundação Cultural Incheon para a produção de uma exposição individual. Ao colaborar na produção de um filme comercial de fantasia ficou interessada na RV (Realidade Virtual) e começou a explorar as possibilidades técnicas desta tecnologia. Em 2017 produziu duas curtas em RV como parte da série “Paralles city” uma exposição que trata de problemas urbanos, exibida em 11 países ao redor do mundo (Ilhas Canárias, Brasil, Argentina, Reino Unido, Miyanma, Vietnã, Taiwan, Alemanha , Espanha, França, Coreia). Durante a sua residência na Zaratan tenciona “encapsular” Lisboa nos seus vídeos, usando a técnica do time lapse e a tecnologia RV. A paisagem urbana será reinterpretada através de múltiplos ecrãs, combinada e sobreposta a imagens e sons capturados em diferentes locais do mundo. /// RESCUEFISH (In Jin Mi) is a Korean visual artist living and working in Seul. In 1996 she started working in the Korean movies industry as assistant director. Since then she participated in several films with various different functions, since scenario designer to main director of the independent movie “Wealth and Honor”. Currently RESCUEFISH works with a lot of different media to develop her artwork, that has been included in several collective show. In 2015 she obtained the support of the Incheon Cultural Foundation for the production of a solo-exhibition.While preparing herself for the production of a fantasy commercial movie she became interested in VR films. In 2017, she produced two short VR films as part of the series “Paralles city” an exhibition dealing with urban problems, displayed in 11 countries around the world ( The canary Island, Brazil, Argentina, UK, Miyanma, Vietnam, Taiwan, Germany, Spain, France, Korea). Her project for Zaratan is to encapsulate Lisbon in her videos using a time lapse technique and VR technology. The urban landscape will be reinterpreted trough multiple screens, combined and overlapped with images and sounds captured in different locations worldwide.
