COMING SOON! Alexandria Library to Offer
Free Academic Resources at Tutor.com

The Alexandria Library is excited to announce that we will soon offer free academic resources and online tutoring from Tutor.com! All customers with a library card can use the service to get help with homework, class projects, papers—even test prep! Tutoring is available in all core K-12 subjects – math, science, English, social studies and writing, including AP-level assistance. Students can access live, online tutoring from any Internet-capable device.  Get more information at our event on December 15 at 10 am: https://alexlibraryva.org/event/4708382
Browse our Local History/Special Collections Materials!

The Local History/Special Collections Branch will begin highlighting new acquisitions on the branch web page beginning in January 2021. It will be updated on a monthly basis. While LH/SC materials do not circulate, you should still take a peek online. You may find that we have that expensive new reference book you need for a work or school project!

Donate to Alexandria Library Foundation during #GivingTuesday!

#GivingTuesday ends at midnight EST on December 1, 2020! We invite you to make a donation on our MightyCause page to benefit the Alexandria Library Foundation between now and December 1.

While you are at home, maintaining physical distancing, there are still plenty of services and materials you can access at the Library, including our virtual programming and digital collections of eBooks, eAudiobooks, digital magazines, and more. Your donation will help us maintain these key services that assist our community in need.

We appreciate your continued support to the Alexandria Library Foundation!
