Donate to Ubuntu's Holiday Meal at the JJIC!
Ubuntu is excited to be able to provide a holiday meal for youth incarcerated at the Juvenile Justice Intervention Center (JJIC) again this year. Sadly, due to Covid-19, family members will not be able to attend. Let's show those kids how loved they are!

We are seeking financial donations to pay for the food as well as donations to put together gift bags for all 48 young people held at the JJIC. Financial donations can be made via PayPal on our website and checks as well as any of the following items can be dropped off at our office, 430 N. Galvez, before 5pm on December 22nd:
  • Bars of soap
  • Deodorant
  • Socks
  • Books
  • Toothpaste,
  • Lotion
  • Peppermints
Thank you! I am because we are!
Congratulations to DA Jason Williams and Judges Clint Smith, and Ranord Darensburg
We are optimistic about the new DA and Judges' stated commitment to creating meaningful reform in the criminal and juvenile justice systems. We are excited to work with them on this mission.

We must reduce incarceration. We must eliminate racial disparities. We must create alternatives to incarceration, a more humane court system, and real futures for ALL our children.
