Thanks to our generous community we have received 118 pledges for 2021 worth 80% of last year’s total. Your pledge can help us reach 100% and continue St. John’s programming and ministries, that keep us connected and tend to those among us and our neighbors who are suffering both spiritually and practically.

St. John’s Vestry will finalize our 2021 budget this month. Knowing in advance our likely income through your pledges allows us to responsibly plan for 2021. We would like to protect, as far as possible, the people who depend on St. John's for their livelihood, care, and companionship. You can help make this happen.

Maybe you think your contribution won’t make a difference but that couldn’t be further from the truth. It is by each of us sharing what we can that we have such a vibrant and vital community. You are an important part of that community, and every pledge, no matter how large or small, is an important part of supporting our mission.

If you didn’t pledge last year or are able to increase your pledge this year you can have even more impact. Anticipating increased hardship and need, generous parishioners are offering a matching gift. These long-time members will match any increases or new pledges up to $1,000 each, so your impact can be twice as great in 2021! 

The donors wish to remain anonymous because this is not about individual gifts, but about the work of the Holy Spirit in our parish. They believe "Generosity defines St. John's" and so, they "want to do [their] part" to help our fellow members who have been adversely financially affected by the pandemic and allow our programming and outreach to continue unaffected.
