Don't miss your chance to win while helping brighten up our community! Submit a photo of your decorated home or business online or on social media @myrichmondhill using the hashtag #LightUpRH for a chance to win a $50 gift card just in time for the holidays. Deadline: Friday, December 11 at 4:30 p.m.

Council Charts Course for Next Two Years

Council is setting the City on a solid path to recover from the pandemic while focusing on top areas of concern identified by residents through a community survey held earlier in the fall. The priorities aim to balance environmental protection and economic development, be fiscally responsible, create a strong sense of belonging in the community and make it easier to move around the city.

2021 Dog Licences Now Available Online

"Dear Santa, All I want for Christmas is my 2021 Richmond Hill dog licence – I hear it’s really easy to get online... and maybe a new ball and bone. Love, Buster."

The City Clears Your Snow Windrow

Last year, we expanded our snow windrow clearing service to include all 43,490 local, residential driveways. A windrow is the snow left at the bottom of a driveway after a snowplow has cleared the road. How can you help? Please keep the street and bottom of your driveway clear for our plows so we can clear your windrow.

Happy Holidays from all of us at the City

We wish you and your loved ones a safe and happy holiday season! While some of our City facilities remain closed to the public due to COVID-19, you can still access many of our City services online, by phone or by appointment. Access Richmond Hill will also be offering limited services on a reduced operating schedule during the holidays.
