Quiet winter...

FUN FOLD CARDS

This week's trolling led me to fun fold cards!  I found several to choose from and what caught my interest was the cards that had cute names and wouldn't be labor intensive (since I started this project on Friday).  Another time saver is using all kinds of pre-cut images I collected from Tim Holtz, Polly's Paper Studio, and stickers and cutouts from G45 and Authentique papers.  I literally didn't stamp a thing!  All cards are A2 in size.

Buckle Fold

Funny how I never knew this fun fold was called a buckle fold!  I've made a similar card in the past without the slot.  I like the slot as it holds the inner card in place.  For a tutorial on this card, just search Pinterest for Buckle Cards.

Corner Fold

The corner fold is by far the easiest to construct.  I literally eyeballed where to fold at the diagonal.  The cousin to the Corner Fold is the Corner Flip Fold.  Search either design in Pinterest and you'll see several tutorials.

Side Fold With a Square Panel

This card was inspired by a YouTube video by Mary Deatherage.  I LINKED this tutorial as it might not be easy to search for in Pinterest.  Super easy to construct!

Z Fold

Another super easy card design!

Circle Gate Fold

This giant circle card is narrowly scored and affixed to the back of the card.  The circle is held in place by just catching the ribbon.

I hope you enjoyed this week's fun fold cards!  The great thing is they are useful designs no matter what the occasion.  If you get a chance to play, I'd love it if you share your creations with me!

Have a pleasant week!

XOXO
