These gals have come a long way, but they will need a good amount of decompression time and patience!

Each week we have a high demand for puppies. As great as puppies are, we have several adult dogs in need of homes. While we do have 40+ puppies under five months old currently in our care; we have 20+ adult dogs in need of homes. Our foster base is too small to accommodate getting them out of boarding down south and up north to wait for homes here. We need YOUR help with this. We ask that you share our availability with friends and family and on social media. Perhaps consider opening your home to foster care!

Did you know? Our adult dogs go into homes as “foster with the intent to adopt.” This means you’re not “stuck” with a dog if it doesn’t work out, but you commit to opening your home to a dog you’d be interested in adopting and giving them a safe place to go. Of course, we would like that home to be the last home they go.

All of our dogs are spayed/Neutered, current on vaccines, treated for fleas/ticks and parasites, and are microchipped.
Mixed breed is always our best guess. We usually DO NOT know a dogs breed what so ever. They all look so different. Your guess is as good as ours! What we do know is all dogs are individuals.

Our dogs are available to waiting applicants first, so if you have previously applied, please email us at: adopt@sandypawsrescue.com

New applicants, please visit our website!

ALL OF THESE DOGS BELOW ARE WAITING FOR SOME WHERE TO GO!

Every week we have several dogs and puppies traveling to New England to look for a place to call home! If you’re considering adoption, now is a perfect time!

***PREVIOUS/CURRENT APPLICANTS: Please reach out to us at adopt@sandypawsrescue.com if you have already filled out an adoption application!!! PLEASE BE SURE YOU HAVE APPLIED!!! We have found this to be our best method of keeping our applicants informed on the availability of dogs and puppies. This is an exclusive email for those who have signed up either by applying, or signing up for our newsletter! If you do not see a dog in this email listed on our website, please EMAIL us! We are trying to give our
waiting applicants first choice of these dogs. If you have not received a denial email, you are still on our list, even if you have not had direct communication with a adoption coordinator!

TO ADVANCE YOUR ADOPTION APPLICATION PLEASE SEND A BRIEF HOME TOUR VIDEO WITH PROOF OF ADDRESS TO: ADOPT@SANDYPAWSRESCUE.COM
SUBJECT: “[YOUR FULL NAME] HOME TOUR”

Not quite ready to adopt?

Share your home with a puppy or dog in need and consider fostering, especially during the holiday season:

  • Great way to determine if you’re ready to add a friend to the family.
  • You’ll be providing a shelter/homeless dog the opportunity to adjust to home life before adoption.
  • All dogs and puppies are fully vetted, and there is no cost to you (unless you decide to adopt your foster)
  • Rescue provides food, crate, collar and leash.

  • Foster families are especially needed in Cape Cod, Bell County TX, Areas of NC, and Georgia!

Sandy Paws Rescue inc. is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization that relies on donations to off-set the costs of rescuing our dogs. We are a 100% volunteer only operation, with most of us working regular full-time jobs. Our only personal gain, is from seeing our dogs placed in wonderful homes. We are only able to exist on donations. Our adoption fees do not cover the amount that we spend on our puppies/dogs to vet and transport them.
