Happy New Year! We have put the challenges of the year 2020 behind us and are looking forward to a new year of hope, peace, and joy in our hearts. Together we have done a tremendous job adapting to the changes in our school to keep everyone in our MCA community safe. Let's finish the school year safe and strong!

We would like to extend a huge “THANK YOU” for all the cards, goodies, and Christmas greetings. We are truly blessed to have such caring and thoughtful students and families. All of God’s blessings to you for a happy, healthy, and safe new year!

WOW (Word of the Week)

To refresh the children's minds, this month we will be reviewing some of the character building words that we have already learned. Please review and reinforce these words with your child:

OBEDIENCE - to listen and then do it
RESPONSIBILITY (kuleana) - be responsible for our actions, good or bad
RESPECT (malama) - care for all that God has created; use kind words and gentle hands
SELF-CONTROL - controlling your body to make the right choice and do what is right

Reminders

Please be sure that all of the items that your child brings to school is labeled with their name.
As part of the set of extra clothes kept in your child's cubby, be sure to include an extra mask.

Upcoming

Parent/Teacher Conference Sign-up - You will soon be receiving an email from SignUpGenius so that you can sign-up for a conference day/time. Conference days will be February 11 & 12 and will be held via Zoom. There will be NO SCHOOL for the children on those dates.
Re-Registration forms will be sent home mid-January. To secure a space for your child next school year 2021-2022, please return the forms and re-registration fee by February 15.

In-Person Service - Sunday at 9 am

Childcare will not be available at the present time;
All health and safety protocols will be implemented including mandatory face masks, temperature checks, physical distance, hand sanitizers, proper ventilation and limited seating capacity. For more information and to reserve your seat, click here .

Our online platforms will continue to broadcast all weekend services, Saturdays at 5 pm and Sunday mornings at 7, 9 and 11 am.
