Happy New Year!

Here we are on the cusp of 2021, ready and eager to dropkick 2020 into the history books. When I think back to one year ago, there was no way to predict that the anticipation, hope and vision for what 2020 could bring would be completely unraveled by mid-March.

But the Lord is with us; He is never quarantined, and our church family has persevered in faith, hope and love.  You are a people of stability, integrity and harmony and I praise God for you.

I want to share a few items with you as we move into the early part of 2021 that I think you will find helpful and informative.

We will have two Worship Services this Sunday, January 3 at the usual times of 8:30am & 11:00am  (no classes this Sunday)

Bible classes resume Sunday, January 10, at 9:45am

  • We will have one adult class taught by Chad Baker and the location is the Gym.
  • Children’s classes will be in their usual locations.  They are using the Gospel Project Curriculum and studying the life of Christ.
  • Our Student classes (teens) will meet in their usual locations. They are also using the Gospel Project curriculum and are studying a section from the Old Testament.
  • We will also have something for nursery, preschool and elementary during the 8:30am & 11:00am hours.
Wednesday Night Student Ministry Returns January 13
  • Student Ministry begins an 8-week series called “Cold-Case Christianity” written by J. Warner Wallace, who is both a forensic detective and a professor of apologetics.
  • Kevin Porter says, “If you want your kids to know why they believe what they believe, and if you want them prepared to answer the tough questions the world will demand of them, then you want them here on Wednesday nights starting January 13.”
Women’s Ministry Has Several New January Initiatives  Will You Consider a Year-end Financial Gift Today, December 31?
  • We have some serious generosity momentum right now and I am asking all of us as members to do what we can personally and uniquely do to fuel our church ministry forward.
  • Will you consider making a year-end financial gift to our church ministry?  Today is the day and you can give online right hereThank you.
  • With your help, we will continue to thrive as we worship God, nurture souls, unleash compassion and create a community of belonging.
My prayer for us as we look to the New Year is that we would continue to trust God’s plan and embrace what He has in store for us. No matter what comes our way, I’m confident God will shape and mold us to be His vision of the church. We love the Lord Jesus Christ, and I believe His church is alive and well!

All God’s Very Best to You,
Ronnie
