Our worlds were turned upside down in a very short period of time and many of us talk about things in terms of ‘the before times’ and embraced the term ‘new normal’. In many ways it’s been easy to focus on what has been hardest and what we have lost.
So as we leave behind this year that was like no other, as we reflect on this last day of the year, we encourage you to ponder this:
What is a gift you have received from the pandemic?
What have you learned about yourself this past year?
Did you have the time to allow relationships to deepen? Did staying close to home introduce you to parts of your community not yet experienced? Or perhaps, what was truly important crystalized and you realized that ‘little’ things are really not so little at all?
