Bedroom. Bored.
UP DOWN LEFT RIGHT A+START TOGETHER
I had all the lives and all the rings.
I was blue hair and red shoes.
I sprinted outside, up trees, over streams.
I was boy and hedgehog.
I was doctor destroyer.
I was freer of animals.
I was speed. I was precision.

Dinnertime. Broccoli again.
UP DOWN LEFT RIGHT A+START TOGETHER
I was fast food and fizzy pop.
I was Hula Hoops. I was onion rings.
I was all the Neapolitan flavours.
I was Party Rings. I was Iced Gems.
I was high speed, high calories.

Livingroom. Snooker’s on.
UP DOWN LEFT RIGHT A+START TOGETHER
I was Nickelodeon. I was Cartoon Network.
I was Scooby Doo unmasking ghosts.
I was Ren and Stimpy.
I was bright lights and colourful shapes.
I was screams. I was explosions.

Bedtime. Can’t sleep.
UP DOWN LEFT RIGHT A+START TOGETHER
I was Emerald Hill and spinning grass.
I was jumping on lava.
I was squashing robot crabs.
I was bubbles and stars and springs
and tunnels and floating earth.

Monday morning. School.
