“In the beginning was the Word … and the Word was God.” “All things were made through him…” “In him was life, and the life was the light of men…” “He came to his people… But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God…” “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us…. full of grace and truth.” “And from his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace…” John 1:1-18
The birth of Christ is the sacrament of God’s Love that’s ever shown in our life. It is the greatest thing that has happened in the world more than 2000 years ago and still is the greatest one in Christian life.
The Son of God came down form heaven and became a human like us, to live in this world, to be crucified and died, and rise just for our salvation.
He came like an infant, He came like a teen, He came like a servant, He came like a teacher, He came like a Savior, just for one reason, that He can take the sin of this world, and like a Lamb of the Heavenly Father was sacrificed just for our life and resurrection. He came so that we can be God’s children.
The birth of Christ is the sun, which rises and never sets. He is the true Light which is lighting the way of our life. The Son of God came for all of us, for you and for me.
Christmas is the sacrament which is never going to be old. Let’s always live in the Christmas light. The Son of God, the Infant which is born in Bethlehem, always will be with us and next to us that you and I can become like HIM.
