WELCOME BACK - TESD PHASED REOPENING PLAN FOR JANUARY!
Welcome Back and Happy New Year! As a reminder, TESD has planned for a phased return to hybrid instruction after the winter break with details as follows:
- Monday, January 4 – Identified K-12 students with special needs and elementary students who are participating in hybrid instruction will return to school buildings in their cohorts. Middle and high school students will participate in fully virtual instruction through Friday, January 8.
- Monday, January 11 – Students in grades 5-12 who are participating in hybrid instruction will return to school buildings in their cohorts.
Families who selected the fully virtual learning option will not be impacted by the reopening timeline and will continue with daily virtual instruction beginning January 4. All students participating in hybrid instruction will continue to learn virtually on Wednesdays.
KINDERGARTEN AND NEW STUDENT REGISTRATION
Registration for kindergarten and first grade students new to T/E will be scheduled during the window of January 25-29. Information needed for registration will be collected electronically this year. Children who plan to enter the T/E School District in grades two through four in September are also encouraged to register at this time. To register, please send in the “Items Needed for Registration” listed on this webpage, along with the Registration Forms from the T/E Website, electronically to your child’s elementary school. If you are not able to send these items electronically, please contact BES at the email address above to schedule a time for the office staff to copy the documents for you. Questions regarding elementary school attendance boundaries may be directed to the Transportation Department at 610-240-1680.
