On behalf of the Board of Directors, the Board of Trustees and your RKMCC family, we wish everyone a Very Happy and Prosperous 2021. Our wish is for a year of peace, success, great joy and most of all the best of health. As we begin the new year, let it be the year that we take the time to appreciate the little things around us, savour and absorb the things we normally take for granted and gain strength. Let it be the year we remember to always be thankful for what we were blessed with and look for opportunities to serve Bhagwan and our community. More than ever this holiday season was unprecedented and hopefully with the rolling out of the vaccine, we will not see this again in our lifetime.
Following the guidelines of the lockdown the Mandir remains closed until further notice. We will continue with our Thursday (7-8pm) and Sunday (10-11am) online presentations via Facebook. We thank you for your continued and generous support during the lockdown and encourage you to continue supporting the new Mandir project. Donations can be done by etransfer to treasurer@radhakrishnamandir.ca, or by using the Donate Now button on the website https://www.radhakrishnamandir.ca/, any donations over $20.00 (twenty dollars) will be eligible for an income tax receipt.
On January 13, 2021, Pandit Rajin Balgobind will host a virtual fundraising concert for our new Mandir, see attached flyer. Pandit Ji is no stranger to our Mandir, he has visited with us on many occasions, his eloquent discussions of our scriptures are always a treat. We ask for your support in promoting this event and all Mandir events to your friends and family to raise more awareness of what is being done for the community by the community.
Unfortunately for our community, Pandit Rudra has asked to extend his visit with his ailing father; we have started the process to source a substitute Pandit Ji in the interim and will communicate with you once a Pandit Ji is in place.
