Kids are back!
2020 has been tough on everyone in Peru, but especially on refugees and children. That makes up a big part of our church.
3 weeks ago was our first time meeting on Sunday, and our first time with the kids being at church in close to 9 months.
I broke down crying before the teaching because this year has been so hard, but that service was so good.
Worship was amazing, Sunday school was wonderful, and there wasn’t an empty seat available. The big smiles on the faces was probably the best part.
We truly have an awesome team and an awesome church. I needed that day. Only by His grace!!

Christmas activities!
We couldn't do everything we wanted to do this year, but we decided to focus on two things. A Christmas tea for the ladies, and a gift ministry for the kids who have been locked in their houses all year.
The ladies tea was awesome. Danielle taught and several ladies shared their testimonies. The theme was holiness and God really spoke. They decorated everything beautifully, and the roof looked amazing. There was a lot of joy, and a semblance of normalcy for all those who attended.
We also did a ministry called, "Dar es Amar" or "To give is to love" We gave opportunity to the church to buy gifts for the children of the church and for our little ones in Huanchaco. We weren't sure if the church would be able to do much because of the hard year, but they truly gave beyond what they were able. The church provided 37 new presents for children, and we got to give the gifts and give the gospel. (PICTURES BELOW)

These are gifts we gave to our kids in Huanchaco. They live in what was formally a trash dump, and we deliver 70 kids Bible studies per week to them.
We were able to give all the kids under 7 a Christmas gift and do a small Bible lesson with them.
PLEASE PRAY: We are hoping to start a small group in a home in Huanchaco. It will be led by two of our students with the hope it will turn into Calvary Huanchaco!

These are pics from the children in our church receiving gifts.
I think the picture of the boy, Samuel, receiving a watch was my absolute favorite. He is handicapped and comes from Venezuela. He live in the dirt at the bottom of a mountain. It takes about 2 hours for him and his family to come to church. He didn't think he would receive anything because he is 13... BUT GOD!

BIG PRAYER REQUEST!!
God has opened amazing door with the oldest and most prestigious High School in Trujillo. They have a theatre with two stories and seats for 400 people. We have had some very successful meetings with them, and we have turned in all the necessary documents to sign a contract to rent the theatre for Sunday services.
We are on the final step, and ask that you pray for continued grace, that we could sign the official contract and launch the new year in a 400 seat theatre that is located 2 blocks from the city center in the heart of Trujillo.
This is a game-changer for our ministry, and we couldn't be more excited to see God guide and provide in truly miraculous ways.
We have a healthy and growing church, an amazing leadership team, an awesome discipleship program, but we have always lacked a place where we could really grow. Now God is providing a place that is more than we could have ever asked for.
Please pray!
