Although 2020 has been a challenging year, the last three months have been a positive experience for Make It Blue market with the launch of the start-up programme, constructive feedback from traders and visitors, and an increasing interest in trading with us.

None of the above could have been possible without the support of Big Local South Bermondsey and UnLtd, our traders and everyone who helped to Make It Blue a success.

We look forward to 2021 with a new market layout, more pitches and plenty of enthusiasm and positive energy.

NEW STALLS AND FACILITIES IN 2021

A new future awaits for Market Place SE16, which has been Make It Blue's home since we started the market.

Locally based Turner prize winning collective, Assemble and architects Hayatsu were appointed to design the improvements to market place, informed by an extensive community consultation exercise in 2019.

The project has the long-term aims to help transform the Blue into a thriving area, once more recognised and celebrated as Bermondsey’s historic town centre.
