Someone once said, “Those who stand for nothing will fall for anything.” Taking a stand requires courage, integrity and leadership. Join us this Sunday morning as start the new year, 2021, by taking a stand together!

Sunday Evening

Every year, our church sets aside one week to seek the Lord through prayer and fasting. Prayer is what helps us discover who God is, who we are, and what God wants to do in 2021. Join us as we launch Solemn Assembly and commit this year to the Lord.

January 3 - 10

Solemn Assembly is a week dedicated to fasting, prayer and worship. All of our regional congregations gather in the evening at our main campus to seek God’s face together. The Holy Spirit moves in power as we center our hearts and minds on God, leading us into worship, repentance, healing, victory and joy.

Parents with Children:
Families are strongly encouraged to attend, but please note that child care will not be available, so please plan accordingly.

All ministries and connect groups will not be meeting during Solemn Assembly.

Leadership Intensive with Prophet John Harke

CALLING ALL LEADERS: There will be a leaders' session with John and Meleana Harke on Saturday morning during Solemn Assembly week. Pastor Ko would like to see all leaders come out to receive a powerful word from them.

We will no longer use the pre-numbered tithing envelopes. If you need a record of your giving, please continue to ask the ushers to give you one on Sundays or call/email Mildred Ricks at 836-3326/mricks@firsaog.com to request a pack of tithing envelopes. As these envelopes have no numbers on them, please be sure to print your complete name (First and Last) legibly. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

Becoming a member at First Assembly of God is an important aspect of our church community. Membership is necessary to be able to volunteer in ministry, start a Connect Group, and vote during the Annual Membership Meeting. Members are committed to representing our church the best they can in their private and public lives, and hold themselves to a high standard of living.

To apply to become our church member, all you need to do is attend a single class. You will learn about our church's history, vision, strategy, and organizational structure in a friendly, laid-back environment. There is no cost to attend or join.

Language Interpretations for our Red Hill 10:15am Service

We offer Mandarin and Japanese simultaneous interpretation for our Red Hill 10:15 a.m. service. Please check in at the Connection Center. For more information, contact Katie Loo at faogchinese@gmail.com for the Chinese ministry and Pastor Chizuko Peeples at cpeeples@firstaog.com for the Japanese ministry.

🇯🇵 Japanese language services are held in room 101 at 10:15am on the 2nd and 3rd Sunday of each month. We also offer Japanese Online-Church every week; go to firstaog.com
