On Sunday, December 27th, at 3 PM PT / 5 PM CT / 6 PM ET / 1 AM in Palestine, the U.S. Palestinian Community Network (USPCN) will present Turath Baladna ("Our Country's Heritage" in Arabic), a free, end-of-year event celebrating Palestinian resistance and culture - featuring the music group originally from 1948 Palestine, 47Soul. The event will be streamed live.

The event will include the world premiere of 47Soul's new music video of its hit single, "Dabke System," followed by a live Q&A with the group members, plus live performances from oud player and composer Clarissa Bitar and poet Lubna Morrar.
47Soul is a world-renowned electronic music group of Palestinians from Jordan. Its musicians have created a unique style they call Shamstep, in which hip hop and electronica are fused with Arab-influenced melodies and styles, including Egyptian shaabi, traditional dabke dance, and the pop music of the Levant.
Currently comprised of members Tareq Abu Kwaik (El Far3i), Ramzy Suleiman (Z the People), and Walaa Sbait, 47Soul produced its debut album in 2015 and has since built a huge fan base across the global Arab diaspora.
 Clarissa Bitar, a Palestinian born and raised in Los Angeles, is a master oud musician, composer, and producer whose solo album, Bayati, was released in 2019 and focuses on the Maqam Bayati, an important mode in Arab music.
 And Lubna Morrar is a Palestinian organizer and spoken-word artist from Oakland, California, who performed her poetry at USPCN's national conference in 2010. She is a graduate of San Francisco State University, where she was active with its General Union of Palestine Students (GUPS).
To support USPCN's 15 years of participating in Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) campaigns; advocating for political prisoners, like the campaigns to defend Rasmea Odeh and #FreeKhitamSaafin; organizing tours from Palestine for the Wishah Popular Dance Troupe, Addameer's Sahar Francis, and the youngest Palestinian journalist in the world,  Janna Jihad; developing our own curriculum to provide intensive political education for Arab youth and students; coordinating delegations to Palestine; and organizing in solidarity with Black liberation (police accountability and #CPACNow), workers' rights, immigrant rights, and other struggles across the U.S. - purchase raffle tickets NOW to win great prizes donated by our amazing sponsors, like the one in the image above from We Are Pali.
