Lesson Three : Qabalah & the Tree of Life
The Tree of Life of Qabalah is the foundational structure for the archetypal energies that we work with in Alchemy, Spagyrics, Magick, and Astrology.
A refined expression of the connection between Above and Below, understanding the chain of sympathy between each Sephira and its manifestations on our plane is the key to all our Arts.

Exercise: Evoking Planetary Archetypes
In this lesson, we discussed Hermetic tables of correspondences such as Crowley's 777, which show the connections between archetypal planetary energies and the earthly objects which reflect them, such as colours, gems, and plants.
For this exercise, select a planetary energy from one of the Sephira on the Tree of Life and create a physical space dedicated to that energy. Charge your altar or space with the archetypal energy using objects which are sympathetic to its intelligence, as we discussed in the lesson text and lecture.
You will select these objects through study of the tables of correspondences, either 777 or one of the others we mentioned, as well as through your own intuition and connection to your experience of that planetary energy.
As you gather your materials together, keep your energetic goal clear and precise in your mind, like an archer who aims at one target only, not the whole field. Simple altars are easiest to keep on target, but if you do move into more complexity, take care that everything you select represents your chosen Sephira, and only your chosen Sephira.
After your space is created and charged with the energy you sought to evoke, spend some time sitting with it, connecting with what you manifest there, and experiencing the space and yourself as a reflection of that archetype here below.
