Rugby CFP Fundraising Competition

In conjunction with the College Football Playoff, the Rugby Clubs from University of Alabama, Clemson University, University of Notre Dame, and Ohio State University will compete in a fundraising challenge. Starting now through January 1, 2021 each program will raise funds, tally and declare a champion in the new year. On the back of the momentum generated from the ACC Championship fundraising challenge with Clemson Rugby, in which we out-raised the Tigers $5,150 to $4,205, we now strive for bragging rights amongst our CFP rugby counterparts. Consistent with the football match ups, we'll compete in a head to head with Alabama, so Roll Irish!

This year's competition format will differ slightly from the 2018 and ACC Championship competition. Rather than a straight dollar amount tally, a point system will be established, combining the number of donations and the total amount raised. Every donation counts, and no gift is too small! All contributions will be allocated to the men's rugby program to support operations and will be collected and recognized by the University of Notre Dame Office of Development, and will be eligible for tax deduction.
