Introducing,

Ethan Ribeiro Eisenmann

**Caleb just wouldn't cooperate for the picture...

Christmas Eve was the due date for our #5 baby boy.  Silvia went to bed and already had "that feeling." She spent our Christmas morning with the boys, but in labor pains. Shortly after breakfast we took off to the hospital and Baby Ethan was born! He weighed 6 lb 12 oz (3,070 g) and was 19 1/4 in. (49 cm) tall.  I think this was the smoothest delivery of them all!  We arrived at 9:15 AM and by 1:00 PM I was picking up the boys from a friend's home!

Ethan came home with mommy on Monday the 28th.  Now we're adjusting to life with 5 boys!

Thank you!

2020 was quite the year for everyone.  Under normal circumstance, Silvia's mom would have come to be with us and help out.  Covid-19 prevented that, but thankfully you all were praying for us and we have a great missionary team near by that helped us out, and continues to do so as we transition back home.

We bring this year to a close with a sense of gratitude and comfort that only the Prince of Peace could provide.

May you all be full of joy in the Lord heading in to 2021.

In Christ,
John, for Silvia and the boys

Two More Baptisms!

Last week we were able to baptize two precious souls! One was a young single man who is about to head off to college.  Some members of our church found him on a prayer walk, invited him to church, and he was so overwhelmed by the presence of love that he couldn't refuse the gospel.  Please pray for Yoshi* to go out full of the Spirit, that his witness would be strong for the glory of Jesus!

The other was an older married lady.  When she first started coming to church events 5 years ago, she was socially inept, hardly able to let go her grip of whomever was accompanying her.  After her baptism, her devoutly buddhist mother was commenting on just how big of a change she saw in her daughter since professing faith in Jesus.  Pray for Naoko* to continue to be a strong influence for the Gospel among her family, that they would all come to know Jesus as their savior too.
