Along these past months, the developed products (biojar and biobottle) have passed all industrial compostability validation tests, such as disintegration and biodegradation tests. Also, they have gone through compost quality studies, including plant toxicity tests.

At the end of the research, these packaging products got the “check” in line with EN 13432 standard. This indicates that the packaging can be labelled as "industrially compostable". The belgium CITRUSPACK partner OWS was in charge of the validation process.

The event Slovenian Industry of the Future "Transition to a circular economy through Industry 4.0" wich took place on the 10th of September in TECOS Slovenian Tool and Die Developtement Centre in Celje, brought together from the research and academic sphere, as well as industrial environment to combine their valuable experience and development ambitionof the Circular Economy and Industry 4.0.
