Punxsutawney Chamber members, we largely control our Community's futures and the future of Punxsutawney is bright!
In 2021 we hope to see the beginning of the IUP Culinary complex, continued renovation of the Pantall Hotel, start of downtown revitalization, new business development, existing business growth, and continued improvements to our public recreational spaces.
These initiatives happen because community leadership demonstrates vision and engages and welcomes the involvement of businesses, organizations, and volunteers who have passion, energy, and optimism, to work for the overall betterment of our Community.
If you are not engaged in our Community's future, please give thought regarding how you can contribute through your positivity, ideas, actions, resources, etc. At a minimum, help us find a way to harness the community's positive energy and redirect negative energy to make Punxsutawney a premier community to start and raise your family; obtain life-long education; and start, build, and grow your business.
It is amazing what can be done when everyone comes together to advance community and economic prosperity!

Man & Women of the Year Nominations
This year's virtual 2021 Groundhog Day will include the traditional announcement of the Man and Women of the Year. Nominations will be accepted until 4:00 p.m. on Monday, January 18, 2021. The Nomination Form can be downloaded by clicking the link below. This form is also available at the Punxsutawney Area Chamber of Commerce, Inc. located at 102 West Mahoning Street, Punxsutawney, PA. Completed forms can be mailed, dropped off, or emailed to the Chamber at chamber@punxsutawney.com.

HOW CAN THE CHAMBER HELP?
The Chamber is about helping members, and while the Board continually discusses and implements plans and activities to achieve this end, feedback from members would help us refine and focus. If you have a specific need or an idea you believe would help you, our membership, and/or our Community, please reach out to the Chamber by phone, or better yet, email us at chamber@punxsutawney.com.
Members can also ask the Chamber to bring community awareness to an accomplishment, promotion, outstanding employee, a job vacancy, an event or non-profit fundraiser, a request for volunteer support, a training event, etc., etc.
