State’s Regional Stay at Home Order

Remains in Effect in SLO County

The State extended its Regional Stay at Home Order for the Southern California Region, which includes San Luis Obispo County, on Tuesday. The order will remain in effect in SLO County until the region’s projected ICU capacity is equal or greater than 15%.

COVID-19 Surges Locally Amid Backlog in Data

COVID-19 is still surging locally after the recent holiday weekend, despite a delay in cases reported. Health officials say that SLO County’s total number of cases has surpassed 10,000.

Vaccine Distribution Expands in SLO County

The County Public Health Department is planning to vaccinate even more local frontline health care workers after nearly tripling its COVID-19 vaccine supply this week.
