We wish you and your loved ones a very Happy New Year. What a challenging and difficult year 2020 was. We pray that God would guide us into this New Year with peace, gratitude, grace and open hearts. As has been our tradition at New Creation that past few years, church members and friends are invited to get a “Star Word,” selected at random with a word that will guide you into the New Year. We encourage you to meditate on the word you receive and pray that God would help you commit this word as a daily intention for 2021.

This Sunday, January 3rd from 10a.m. until noon, you are invited to a drive-thru Epiphany worship experience called “Worship on the Way.” Drive thru to share your prayer requests, receive Holy Communion, and receive your Star Word for 2021.

We look forward to seeing all of you in person on Sunday at our drive-thru Epiphany “Worship on the Way.”

Congratulations to the Hill Family!

In the midst of this public health crisis, some of our church members have been laid off from their jobs, furloughed and had other extenuating circumstances. If you have fallen on hard times, we have church members who stand ready to lend a helping hand. Please email the pastors if you are in need of assistance, and your request will be kept confidential.
There will be NO Virtual Coffee Hour on Tuesday, December 29th. Click here for the January 5th link to laughter, friendship and uplifting prayer.

Instead of a "student" bag given out before a long holiday weekend, they are going to be making "family" bags to be given out weekly to any family that asks for one.

These bags will have an assortment of items for families to make meals and snacks.  Each bag could be different depending on what they have on hand and prepacked for ease of distribution. Not every item goes in each bag, it will be an assortment.

These are some of the most needed items ...
  • boxes of cold cereal
  • oatmeal
  • pancake mix
  • pancake syrup
  • shelf stable milk
  • canned fruit
  • microwavable popcorn
Some more items they have been including in the family bags are...
  • granola bars
  • soup
  • peanut butter
  • jelly
  • canned vegetables
  • canned diced tomatoes, crushed tomatoes
  • applesauce
  • baked beans
  • canned or dried beans - black, red, pinto, etc.
  • refried beans
  • sloppy joe sauce
  • meal helpers - hamburger helper, tuna helper, taco kit
  • canned chili

  • tuna fish
  • canned chicken breast
  • pasta - spaghetti, elbow, penne, shells, etc.
  • pasta sauce - meat, marinara, alfredo
  • boxed mac & cheese
  • instant potatoes
  • stuffing
  • noodles
  • rice - white and brown
  • raisins
  • crackers - saltines, ritz, graham
  • snack crackers, chips, pretzels
  • brownie or cake/muffin mix
All donations can be dropped off in the plastic tote under the portico. Thank you for your continued support of this community outreach!
