Severe Covid-19
NEJM
This is definitely geared more towards our colleagues taking care of many of our patients in the hospital, or in the ICU.  I think figure 1 reflecting the timeline of symptoms is helpful.  Note that many of the patients who develop dyspnea have symptoms by day 7 after the onset of their symptoms, with dyspnea occurring in 40% of the symptomatic patients.  Severe illness develops in 14% of symptomatic patients, and critical illness occurs in 5% of symptomatic patients.
