Concern
Due to the announcement of the new Tier 3 status for York, we have been advised to stop holding in-building services with immediate effect. For Southlands this affects Concern, which had hoped to start again in January. HERE is a copy of the Concern sheet to do at home this Wednesday.

Planet Food
Planet Food is still distributing excess-supermarket food 11am-2pm on Thursdays at Southlands. Fill a bag for £1 plus a "pay as you feel" donation. There is no cafe whilst we are in tier 3 (or above). Naomi and David usually have a box of excess Planet Food bread on their wall (Norfolk St) on Thursday afternoons for locals to help themselves to.
Praying for our Circuit
The church on the Circuit Prayer Rota for 3rd January is Huby. Let us thank God for the work of God in that place, and pray for the church as they consider how best to respond to God's call at this time.
