I pray you all have had a safe and rejuvenating Christmas holiday.
Here is the update regarding in-person instruction as our second semester begins this coming Monday.
For students in grades PreK-4, we will offer both in-person and online instruction beginning on Monday, January 4.Please read the information in the box below regarding details for in-person attendance.
Students in Grades 5-12 will continue to be online only for at least the first week or two of the semester.
We will continue to evaluate the situation in our county and in our school, and we hope to open in-person again for all grades by Tuesday, January 19, following Martin Luther King Jr. Day. (It is possible that Grades 5-6 may be able to come back before that date.)
We will do our utmost to send updates in a timely manner so you can plan appropriately.
PreK-4 Attendance Information
Please communicate right away with your student's teacher regarding whether your student will attend in-person or online. Teachers need to have this information so they can plan accordingly.
No hot lunch will be provided until all classrooms are open. If your student is attending in-person, please be sure they have a lunch each day.
If your child has any cold or flu-like symptoms or has been exposed to COVID, please keep them home until they have tested negative for COVID or a doctor's note. This continues to be extremely important for the safety of our faculty and student body.
Again, thank you for your patience and understanding as we work through these times. We are working diligently to bring our students back in-person as safely and as soon as possible, and while we know we may not be meeting everyone's needs the way we would like to, please bear with us through this most trying time. Believe me, I will be having an extra drink for New Year's! Haha!
