I've come to appreciate Kennedy Gondwe's friendship over the last year. We both graduated from sister schools--the Westminster Seminaries. And we love the same books. Kennedy is unlike most African theologians because he received an education in America AND he returned to Africa. Eighty percent of those who receive an education in the West don't return to their home country. Kennedy returned because he wants to serve the churches in Africa. Kennedy and I want to see a robust seminary in Africa where African pastors, theologians, and missionaries can receive an education in Africa that is affordable and makes sense in the African context.
