2020 was a very challenging year for many so most are ready to say good bye and good riddance!
One of the best things about 2020 was the amazing way the literacy field came together to help each other out. LLO is proud to be a part of it all.
Here's hoping that 2021 brings you and your families a safe, healthy and prosperous new year.

LBS Pandemic Planning Manual
Literacy Link South Central (LLSC) is hosting a Job Creation Partnership Project designed to research and create a Pandemic Planning Manual to support LBS agencies during COVID-19.
They want to hear the needs and challenges you've faced as a result of COVID-19 as well as any adaptations or promising practices that may have been developed to cope with the pandemic. A range of topics will be covered, including technology, learner needs, office safety, mental health, the logistics of working from home.
LLSC would like to hold key informant interviews via telephone or Zoom with a variety of LBS practitioners. If would like to participate, please email Jeremy Marks at
jeremy@llsc.on.ca.
This
Pandemic Planning Manual will be completed by late April 2021 and be made freely available online.
