Exposure of a glaucoma drainage device tube is a serious, vision threatening complication which can occur due to a multitude of factors including micro-motion of the tube with eye movement, underlying ocular inflammation, melting of the patch graft and a friable conjunctiva. In this video, the authors demonstrate three quintessential steps to achieve success in repairing an exposed tube. The first step includes moving the tube to a different location and then repositioning of the tube is done under a long scleral tunnel into the ciliary sulcus. This is followed by application of a corneal patch graft to cover the tube and finally the conjunctiva is sutured to the edge of the corneal patch graft to avoid excessive traction.
