THIS WEEKS UPDATE - 21st December 2020
Broccoli, Kumera and Tomatoes have increased in price this week. As an alternative, Truss Tomatoes are on special this week and would make a great substitute for regular tomatoes. Australian Asparagus is no longer available and therefore the imported products are exorbitant. We suggest substituting where possible. Whole Beans have come back in price.
As we are still in a cross over period, Apple varieties continue to be highly priced. Rockmelons have also increased in price, we suggest ordering Honeydew or Candy Melon as a better value option. Avocados, Aussie Grapes and Pears have come back in price slightly. Stonefruit (Apricots, Peaches, Plums & Nectarines) are great value and readily available this week.
A reminder that Mandarins have finally finished for this year, we expect them to be available again next winter.
