Jesuit universities around the world developed a joint Massive Online Open Course (MOOC) on sustainability and Ignatian values reflecting the integral ecology proposed by Pope Francis in Laudato Si’. These online courses are to be made accessible through commercial or universities’ platforms, allowing students and a broader audience to join.

EU agrees on tougher climate goals for 2030
|

EU leaders agreed this month to set an ambitious target to cut greenhouse gas emissions by 55% by 2030. While this development puts the EU on track to net-zero emissions by 2050, green groups and the European Parliament argue that keeping the rise in temperatures under 1.5C this century will require the UE to be far more ambitious (65-70%).
