There were many moments this year that showed the transformative power of Convergence.
For me, it was seeing Congress issue recommendations that I helped shape in the Building a Better Budget Process Dialogue.
It’s because of supporters like you that I was able to be part of this transformative experience. I saw firsthand Convergence successfully build consensus among an unlikely group of individuals representing diverse political perspectives and constituencies. We built trust, forged consensus and moved Congress forward.

Together, we’ve accomplished so much in 2020 – even at a time of tremendous social, personal and economic loss. Through it all, Convergence is working to reconnect workers to jobs, increase health care access and affordability, and reduce the risk of gun-related suicides. I’m also proud of Convergence’s commitment to lift up racial justice and equity issues across these dialogues where they disproportionately impact communities of color.
The trust and relationships built, the breakthroughs reached on policy issues, and the new alliances for change launched across issues, institutions and industries are exactly what America needs now, more than ever. And, to meet this moment of need, we’re thinking even bigger in 2021.
