NIH Funding Opportunity
NIH announced a new R03 grant program entitled "Pilot Projects Enhancing Utility and Usage of Common Fund Data Sets (R03 Clinical Trial Not Allowed)" (RFA-RM-21-007). This opportunity is for one-year projects, $200,000 direct cost limit. Projects should conduct analyses of two or more NIH Common Fund datasets or develop workflows/tools for simultaneous analysis of multiple Common Fund datasets. Applications are due February 19, 2021. IDG data are part of the list of Common Fund Data Sets included in this funding opportunity -

Planning for IDG Social at SfN meeting
An IDG Social Event is being planned for the upcoming Society for Neuroscience Global Connectome held virtually on January 11 - 13, 2021. The social event will have speakers from across IDG sharing highlights of their IDG projects and their available resources, focusing on proteins expressed in the nervous system/relevant to neuroscience.
