 / / A S A L W A Y S we just want to say a huge Thank You to all those who have stood by us this year! It has truly been such a year of blessing and breakthrough for us as we saw: Aaron's Green Card get accepted, travelled to 3 different countries, became parents, entered into new ministries and communities, and so much more! We trusted God for a lot this year and we saw Him not only be faithful to where He called us, but go above and beyond in every area and every place that our foot landed! And, if not for the community that stood beside us, I don't know if we would be where we are right now! So from everything we have we just want to Thank you! We do not have the words to say how grateful we are for the generosity we have received and the just the abundant love and encouragement we have received- despite all that the world has had to endure. We are both so excited for what this new year holds for us both and equally excited to stand with you as well as we see God do even greater things!! |

 / / W H A T A N E N D T O T H E Y E A R
It is crazy to think that this year is over. Christmas has come and gone, and the New Year is upon us. And.... the next Newsletter that you receive from us, we'll be announcing our new Baby Boy to everyone! How crazy is that?! These past few months have been filled with so many amazing stories of God's faithfulness, that we are so excited to share with you! Whether ministry, home life, our marriage, things with the baby, or anything in-between... we have honestly just felt God's hand and favor over us in so many ways! Honestly, in amidst everything that has happened this year, it has been a truly humbling year as we have seen God move so many mountains and truly embody His Faithfulness to us! It has been an honor to follow where He has called!

C H A P T E R T W O : P R E P A R E
As I sit here, pondering and praying over what this year holds- the immediate word that comes to my mind is prepare. Prepare for a season of growth. Prepare for what Parenthood holds. Prepare to meet your son. Prepare to see all that God has for you, beyond what you could imagine. Prepare to be stretched. Prepare to see more of God's heart and Love. Prepare to learn, to receive, to give, to Love, to hold, to let go, to heal, to stand, to pray, to ask, to grow.... the list goes on and on. Last year was a season of storing, waiting, seeking. But as we enter into what God has for us this year, I personally feel the eager anticipation of what He is calling us to. Like the weight of silence that falls over an athlete at a the beginning of a race, as they wait, listening for the sound of the gun to set them free! It is truly indescribable all that I feel, as I wait on the Lord!

Y O U T H W I T H A M I S S I O N
YWAM ministry has continued to stretch us, create structure to our days, help us serve where-ever we are needed, and be apart of something that is bigger than ourselves. All good things from God! We have both continued to operate in our roles: Jennifersara as Office and Hospitality Manager, and Aaron as Warehouse Manager and Registrar. Our days are very busy with administrative roles as well as helping prepare for 2021. As office manager, we did have the opportunity to deliver Christmas Gifts to our staff, since we weren't able to have a Christmas Party. Create and hand out gifts to the Mail people, as a way to bless them, as we see them everyday! We also helped pack and send over 250 Care Boxes and 1320 Letters for our YWAM San Diego Baja Hope Fund. Jennifersara has continued to send out our "Values Matter" YWAM books, written by our Founder's wife, Darlene Cunningham, about the values that YWAM has. So far this year she has sent out over 1100 books!! Aaron has continued testing and helping set up our new Homes of Hope and Mission Adventures Registration Website, which consists of a lot of trial and error and making sure things work properly. This new system is key to YWAM San Diego Baja, as all of our registration will be done on one website now, as apposed to 5 or 6 different programs. This will significantly cut down on the time it takes to process information and update and change things. We are excited for the new year, as things start to go back to normal- hopefully!
Not a lot of photo exciting work I'm afraid, but all good things, as we grow and learn more of what it takes to lead and operate a YWAM base from behind the scenes! It has allowed us to see a different side of YWAM, as well as give us greater appreciation for how much time and effort is put into the foundations of ministry to keep it growing and functional!

Y O U T H M I N I S T R Y R O L E
Jennifersara and I have continued to operate as the Youth Leaders at the Refinery Church in our free time outside of YWAM, as one of our main forms of Ministry. It has definitely been a challenge for both of us, as we learn to Disciple an age group we currently didn't have much or any exposure to previously. However, it has been such a wonderful experience for us both as we have already seen God move powerfully in their lives. We were finally able to meet outside in person at the end of November, and once we got through the awkward stage of getting to know everyone and them not knowing if its safe to just be themselves, we have already had the honor of seeing Breakthrough and growth in their understanding of God's heart for them!! Whether revelations of God's deep desire for Relationship, their Identity in Christ, or even simply that they are able to actually hear and communicate with God.. to see those revelations enter their hearts and create a desire to know Him more is such a Blessing to us! Such an amazing testimony of God making a way, as we are obedient to what He has called us to! Cause only God can do that!!!
We have continued to prepare and share teachings each week, and God has already been speaking to us about the what He wants to do through this ministry for the whole of next year!! So that has been awesome and is super exciting! We helped out with making and giving out Thanksgiving meals to the Homeless and Unsheltered in the Area, and we were also able to get the youth to be apart of some Evangelism and Ministry, as we made, wrapped, and gave out Christmas Presents to the Homeless and Unsheltered in our Area as well!!! It was such an amazing time, as we went out in Love to the be the Light! We also went around and gave each of them a Christmas gift, as well, which really seemed to Bless them!! So God is moving powerfully and we are excited to see how He moves next year!

 Jennifersara and I have been completely blown away by the generosity that we have been shown in regards to our fundraiser. In all honesty, there was a slight belief that nothing else would happen after we started, as we hadn't received any responses or feedback for about a week after we sent it out. We knew that God would provide in whatever way He saw, and so we continued to Pray and seek God. But then all of a sudden, out of nowhere to received over $2000 dollars in a matter of days.....
Honestly I can't even put into words how grateful I am to those who have stood by us time and time again, and how God continues to move in our lives. This is not me asking for more, because honestly if this is all we received and to know that we already have 8 months rent already covered for next year.. is more than I expected. Yet I am filled with such faith at the Faithfulness of God as He continuously asks us to trust for greater things, and to see the rest come in! And oh I am ready to give Him even more Glory and Recognition when we say, "God Provided for it ALL... AGAIN"!! But I am writing this to Encourage you.. Do not loose heart. Do not let the certainty of doubt and scale of reality stop you from seeing God move in that area that He is asking you to trust Him in!!! Know that He is Faithful even when we are Faithless, and He is perfectly able and ready to provide for what He has called you to! The impossible is His playground, the Mountains are His Specialty! Keep trusting, keep speaking "God" over your obstacle! If He can do it for us, He can do it for you!!! Amen

/ / W E H A V E C O N T I N U E D to work on our home, as we prepare for our little Baby to enter in! We are yet to put up any pictures (on Aaron's to do list) but we have been able to hang up a few decorations, put up some fairy lights around the kitchen and lounge, start setting up the nursery, and start to finalize where everything lives in the cupboards. haha. Not much has changed since the last newsletter, but the apartment has definitely started to feel like our home- which is so key! Aaron has few projects that he is trying to do when he has time, such as making a headboard for our Bed, finishing his drawings for the nursery, and printing pictures for the walls, and so on! So once that is done, it should feel even more homely!

We have also been showered with the generosity of other's once again, as so many have donated and given us things for the house that we were missing- we didn't even ask, they just gave! Even to the point where Aaron was looking at the vacuum that we have at the YWAM office, and was thinking to himself, "That kind of vacuum would be nice to have, but they are a little pricey" and then the next day someone showing up to our home with the very same vacuum!! How crazy is that?! God's just out there listening to our whispers, waiting to surprise us at His Love and Generosity!!! It is truly so humbling! And we are so grateful at the community of people that have so abundantly given to us as we prepare this place to be ours. It is such a testimony to the Heart of God, as this is the first place since before we even got married, that have been able to truly make our own and plant some roots, as it were! And to see how God has joined us in this process with all of His creativity and excitement, has made this whole transition that much more enjoyable!!

Aaron has spent many hours painting, putting together furniture, and trying to prep for the baby- it seems like as soon as we became parents Aaron got the dad anointing of always having projects to do. haha. But he has enjoyed it and is very excited about the headboard he is making! So stay tuned!

H E L L O 4 0 W E E K S O F P R E G N A N C Y :
" These past few weeks I’ve been reflecting on all that God has done for us and for this little one growing inside me. Already He fills our days with so much joy, we just can’t wait to meet him and see his face. Over all, I would say this pregnancy has gone really well! I haven’t experienced much contractions yet so we think he will make his appearance soon but not as soon as we would like haha. We rest in God's timing and soak in the last few final days of it just being Aaron and I. We cling to the promises that God will surround us with such peace as look ahead in the biggest transition we would have ever done yet.. becoming parents! "

A A R O N ' S B I R T H D A Y
Aaron turned 25 this year.. a quarter of a century!! haha. He doesn't really do big celebrations, and so the covid restrictions didn't impede on our celebration! We started the day with waffles and strawberries, which is one of his favorite, and then we went to a beautiful park about a 30 min drive away, called Balboa Park. It was a really beautiful park filled with many different mini themed parks with in it, which was cool! Although a lot of them were actually closed, it was still nice to walk around together in the sun and explore more of the area! We then went to get some really nice Smoothie Bowls, and then went home to rest. In the evening we went over to His parents house, where we had an amazing steak dinner and cake! We also managed to surprise him with a bunch of videos from friends and family, wishing him a happy birthday and encouraging him! He felt so blessed by it all and had a great day!

B A B Y S H O W E R
Aaron's parents truly blessed us beyond measure at the beginning of December, as they put on and hosted a Covid safe Baby Shower! It looked amazing, and was filled with delicious snacks and even better company!! We were able to do it in two groups - one for the church and one for YWAM - and it was honestly so much fun! To say that we were blessed is such an understatement, and we felt so humbled by all those that gave us gifts and came to celebrate our little baby on the way! We felt so much more prepared afterwards, and we were definitely less worried at the thought of what we might need. God is so good!

3 7 W E E K S P R E G N A N T
We were truly blessed by one of our good friends - Mily Carrillo - as she came up to California from the YWAM Tijuana Base in Mexico, and was able to do a photoshoot with us! We really wanted to capture the 37 week milestone and so we felt so blessed that she was so willing to spend the afternoon with us! She is an incredible photographer and so the pictures came out great! We are so excited to try and recreate some of the photos with the baby in hand already!! It was such a blessing and fun time!

C H R I S T M A S C E L E B R A T I O N
We both had such an amazing Christmas together and felt so blessed! We started the day by video-chatting Aaron's sisters in England and his parents up the road (haha). It was nice seeing them and his niece Isabella, as it was her first Christmas! We then called Jennifersara's family and wished them a Merry Christmas! After the video-chats, we then took time for ourselves, opening our presents, watching Elf, eating from our cheese and meat board, and reflecting on Jesus and all that He is to us! We then went over to Aaron's parents house at around 3 pm, to continue the festive celebration! haha. We ate a really nice meal, watched a fun Movie, and ate desert! It was such a lovely Christmas, and a great way to celebrate all that God had done for us and is leading us into!

Just a picture of Jennifersara absolutely crushing it!! She has taken the many obstacles of pregnancy with such courage and perseverance, and I could not be more proud to be her husband! I fall deeper in love with her each day, and I am constantly in awe of how she has taken on this venture! So I just wanted to make space to celebrate her, as she has truly been such an inspiration throughout it all!!
