Goodbye 2020!
As we near the end of 2020, we may all be having some mixed feelings... relief, exhaustion and finally time to rejuvenate over the Christmas holiday season.
The pandemic has forced us all to re-think the way we work and also operate with a highly reduced number of volunteers.
This year for many it meant working and volunteering from home with our only connection with the outside world being via Zoom and other online platforms.
But I’m sure many of us have learned some new skills this year but the constant pressure of reinventing and multi-tasking can cause eventual burnout.
But moving into 2021 the New Year looks a lot brighter and we can start planning again.
We would like to take this opportunity to warmly thank all our registered volunteers once again for their selfless service to the Knox community.
We can report that over the past 12 months our volunteers contributed 68000 hours of service in our community. The economic contribution is worth just over $2 million.
If you know someone that wants to volunteer, please tell them to email us at office@volunteerforknox.com.au.You can search for new positions on our website.
