Dear Science Center Friends,
Usually this time of year the SSSC team would be gathering in the Calvin classroom to decorate cookies. Frosting and sprinkles in every color and shape. We'd all be snacking and sipping hot cocoa as we laugh and decorate. There'd be some sort of game for a little friendly competition. We'd talk about what we most looked forward to for the holidays and highlights of the year in science. At the end of the night our Executive Director, Lisa Busch, would organize where we should deliver plates of our creations to organizations that are helping the community this time of year.
Although 2020 looks a bit different, we still gather virtually in good cheer. We are thankful for the support of our Sitka community, our members far and wide, our science community, our donors, our families, our friends and each other. We are grateful to be part of the scientific process that is truly a ray of hope for the year to come.
We wish you all a very happy holiday season and can’t wait to see you in 2021!
