Illinois Agricultural Leadership Foundation News
  December 21, 2020
Happy Holidays and many thanks from the IALF!
2020 is drawing to a close, and despite the many setbacks that came with this challenging year, we still have much to be grateful for. We would like to extend our gratitude to the many friends and alumni that support the Foundation year after year. This year we are exceptionally grateful to our alumni that contributed items to our online auction, to the Class of 2010 for sponsoring the auction, all alumni that raised money along with their classmates (and continue to do so), and to Lowderman Auction options for the work they did to help us execute this fundraising event. We also want to extend a special thank you to all of our alumni that contributed to the health and well-being of their communities and its members. It was a joy to receive and share the stories of our alumni donating food and other necessities, sewing and distributing masks or manufacturing hand sanitizer during the shortages early in the year, providing fresh fruits and vegetables to those unable to get out to the stores, and so many other demonstrations of goodwill and leadership. We wish you all Happy Holidays and Best Wishes for the New Year!
We Thank Our Supporters

"Keeping Connected" Alumni Webinar Series

The
IALF extends their thanks to broadcast legend, Orion Samuelson. This past Thursday, December 17th, on the eve of his retirement, Orion joined us for the fourth installment of the "Keeping Connected" webinar series. Orion has long worked with the IALF; offering his expertise to class members and serving as a member of the board of directors. IALF founder, Joyce Watson, joined in the hour-long conversation as Orion reflected on his time in broadcasting and took questions from attendees. If you were unable to attend this webinar you can view the recording here

Information on and registration for the January 21st
"Keeping Connected" webinar will available soon!
