<<First Name>>,

We need our redwood parks now more than ever.

You are a friend of the redwoods and have supported Redwood Parks Conservancy’s mission to preserve our public lands and further education and enjoyment for visitors. We are reaching out to you now because we need your help.

Our public land partners have already told us that the pandemic and resulting recession will mean their budgets will be cut next year and into the future. RPC’s support of programs like Junior Rangers, seasonal interpretive guides, threatened species habitat protection, wilderness trail maintenance, and major restoration projects like Grove of Titans, will be more vital than ever before.
At the same time, visitor center closures, wildfires and the recession have hindered our ability to raise funds. This means we’ll be severely limited in the ways we can help our park partners next year, when they really need us. We’ll need your help to be ready to support our parks in 2021.

What can YOU do?

A group of supporters of Redwood Parks Conservancy have helped us create the Redwood Resilience matching fund for anyone who gives between now and January 1st. They have collectively pledged $25,250 to match donations to Redwood Parks Conservancy! Can you help by making a gift now?

PS - Find out what RPC has been doing in 2020 to support redwood area parks and public lands below.
Even with parks closed for part of this spring, reduced visitation and other challenges this year, RPC continues to support our redwood parks and public lands.

What will your donation accomplish?

You'll fund education: RPC supported park interpretive guides in Prairie Creek State Park in 2020 and will soon help create new educational materials in the Prairie Creek Visitor Center.
You'll engage young minds: Redwood Parks Conservancy pays for Junior Ranger materials that went to more than 12,000 young visitors this year
You are protecting threatened species: RPC supported grants are improving habitat for the Snowy Plover and Oregon Silverspot Butterflies this fall and winter.
You will preserve history: Donor funds are restoring part of of a 1930s visitor center.
You will help make trails better: This year, RPC helped wilderness trail volunteers work in the Smith River National Recreation Area.
You'll help park visitors like you: Our nature store and visitor center staff serve thousands of visitors every year.

Please keep this good work going and help us receive all the matching funds that have been pledged by giving now.
