Dear Royal Natal Yacht Club Members

In the midst of a second wave of this terrible pandemic we approach the festive season with trepidation. It seems to be worse than the first and makes us remember what is important in life.  Family is first. This is closely followed by our friends. Your yacht club is a haven for both. In these times it is best to get out and enjoy time with friends and family. The Ndongeni lawns are the ideal venue. Social distancing, great views of the harbour and fresh air. Use your club it is here for you.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank all our members for their support during these difficult times. Our loyal staff who have suffered during the lockdown and still come in with a smile to look after our members needs. Your Gencom and sailing committee have been hard at work getting the club back on its feet and so far we are on the right track. By no means are we through this but with the fortitude that has made us the oldest yacht and sports club in Africa we will persevere.

We take our members health seriously and for this reason we had a deep clean this Monday 21/12/20. Thankfully our staff are all well and we pray this continues. We will be open for business except for 25/26 December. Unfortunately no News Years party but bacon and egg rolls in the morning followed by a bring and braai on New Years day. (see calendar of events/operating hours.

Good luck and fair winds to all competitors on the EAST COAST CHALLENGE

Stay Safe
