Beste bewoners,
Na de hartverwarmende kerstboodschap die DUWO gister heeft rondgestuurd, kunnen wij als Studentbeheer natuurlijk niet achterblijven. We zouden echter niet het beheer van de Pelikaanhof zijn als we jullie in de zelfde mail niet ook op wat praktische zaken zouden wijzen.
Omdat we als beheerders toch ook mensen met families zijn, is de kans groot dat we tijdens de kerstdagen slechter bereikbaar zijn dan normaal en dat we waarschijnlijk ook niet in grote getale aanwezig zijn op de Pelikaanhof. Mocht zich een calamiteit voordoen die echt niet kan wachten en krijg je niemand van ons te pakken, bel dan vooral de vastgoedservice van DUWO. Omdat dat natuurlijk ook niet echt ideaal is willen we degene die kerst doorbrengen op de Peli echt op het hart drukken een extra raam open te zetten tijdens het gourmetten, zodat de walm van je mini-slavink geen brandalarmen laat afgaan en erop te letten dat je jezelf zo min mogelijk buitensluit.
Zoals voorgaande jaren sluiten we ook dit jaar tijdens Oud & Nieuw het dakterras en vragen we jullie rekening te houden met medebewoners tijdens het inluiden van een beter 2021.
Als laatst willen we jullie erop wijzen dat de spreekuren komende twee weken gewoon doorgaan. Dus ook tussen Kerst en Oud & Nieuw hoef je niet in het donker of zonder douchegordijn te zitten.
Dan rest verder niets dan iedereen een fijne kerst en een goede jaarwisseling te wensen. Maak er een feestje van, wees voorzichtig en tot in 2021!

After the heartwarming Christmas message sent by DUWO yesterday, we as Studentbeheer obviously cannot stay behind. However, we wouldn't be the beheer of the Pelikaanhof if we didn't also point out some practical matters to you in the same mail.
Since we as beheerders are also people with families, there is a good chance that we will be more difficult to reach during Christmas than usual and that we will probably not be present at the Pelikaanhof in large numbers. If a calamity occurs that really can't wait and you cannot reach any of us, please call the real estate service (vastgoedservice) of DUWO. Because that's not really ideal either, we would like to urge those who spend Christmas on the Peli to open an extra window while gourmeting, so that the walm of your mini-slavink doesn't set off fire alarms and to make sure that you exclude yourself as little as possible.
As in previous years, we will close the roof terrace this year during New Year's Eve and we ask you to take your fellow residents into account when ushering in a better 2021.
Finally, we would like to point out that the consultation hours will continue for the next two weeks. So even between Christmas and New Year you don't have to be in the dark or without a shower curtain.
