Mesh back in the studio and working on new material

The news everyone wanted to hear, Rich and Mark are back working on a new album!

Several factors have contributed to the lengthy break after finishing the Looking Skyward and Retrospective Tour. Both Mark and Rich felt physical and mentally burnt out and in need of time to reflect on everything and to charge their batteries before embarking on the next new Mesh material.

The retrospective Tour was a huge amount of work particularly and was like writing two new albums in itself. Unfortunately in this time period Rich went through a very tough time in his personal life which seriously impacted on his time and creativity leaving a void in the Mesh writing process. 
Mark disappeared into his own studio and done some serious upgrading to his arsenal of music equipment and gave him time to write and express himself outside the constraints of Mesh.
Although several demos were shared back and forth nothing was really worked on to a finished stage. 

Of course, none of us expected the impact the pandemic would have on the work flow and the ability as a band to get out and play or even get together to work on new material. Again, this contributed to lack of work that was done.

The band now have said they have enough new ideas and written material for what is to become the new album. So although still in the early stages it's full steam ahead. Both have said they are excited to be back working together again and ready to take on the challenge of creating something new.

Mark has been working hard on a new project 'BlackCarBurning' and will release material in January 2021. The first single from the project will be "The Mirror" followed by a full length album. Touring Skyward

The long awaited live blu-ray DVD “Touring Skyward” is finished and is set for release in the New Year.
It's an AAA 'life on the road' experience with Mesh and not something to be missed.

Merry Christmas

2020 has been a very tough year for everyone. As 2020 draws to a close Mark and Rich would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays and hopefully a bright and prosperous 2021.
