<<First Name>>,

Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Philippians 2:9-11

As we review this past year, we realize how much we are really looking forward to the new year.  2020 saw our annual trip postponed until 2021.  In Uganda, schools were closed almost the entire year.  Businesses were crushed by a whole country lockdown.  Children and whole families are starving for lack of work and resources.

But God is working through all of this.  He is working through EVERYTHING!

We have seen positive things happening.  Schools have reopened for candidate classes and will be reopening for all students in a couple months.  We completed a painting project at the Michelle & Julia Hoffman Memorial Home.  We have been busy each month delivering food and supply to all the children we support.  And this month we were able to deliver Christmas presents to each child as well as our Ugandan employees.

We want to share some stories with you.  Below are a couple success stories of sponsored children and children that need sponsors.

Children Impacting the World - Eric

Eric is the third born of four boys in his family.  His family lives in a small grass and mud hut in the hills of Uganda near fields of pineapples and tea leaves.  His parents are hardworking, helping pick crops and maintain their own small garden, but they are not able to afford school fees for all their sons.  Sponsorship has helped the younger three boys to attend school for the past five years.

Through sponsorship and the Covid relief efforts, Eric and his family has received food, clothing and support to make it through this challenging season. Eric dreams of becoming a doctor, and has learned from his parents to be diligent and work hard.  He looks forward to schools reopening in 2021 and the opportunity to continue his studies.
Children Impacting the World - Kizza
Determination is a word that describes Kizza.  As a very young boy he was severely burned in a fire which left his foot painful and disfigured.  After receiving funds from the sponsorship program with True Impact Ministries, he endured multiple surgeries and months of healing without complaint, learning to walk again. Through the next decade, funds from a shared sponsorship provided Kizza with a primary and high school education, a secure and loving home, continued medical care and an opportunity to continue his passion of growing crops and raising animals.   He has been encouraged spiritually, physically, emotionally and socially. He writes that he is “proud to be in a community that helps shape his behavior and character to become an important member of  his community and country.”
While restrictions from Covid have closed all schools, Kizza has stayed at the Salem Children’s Centre taking charge of the animals and planting new crops so that all the younger children may have a variety of healthy foods. Kizza is very quiet, but he writes his sponsors regularly and shares his strong desire to return to his vocational training in agriculture and animal husbandry.

Sponsorship through True Impact Ministries has provided Kizza with opportunities that were previously out of his reach, but in return he has worked hard, pursued his passion and abundantly blessed and given to others.

Children Who Desire to Impact the World
Joseph and Ibrahim are twin brothers who are desperate for hope and a brighter future.  Their father was a fisherman who drowned in Lake Wamala while working.  Their mother was not able to cope with this loss and abandoned the two young boys, leaving them in the care of an aunt and uncle.  A car accident left the two new caretakers with severe health problems, leaving Joseph and Ibrahim without family to care for them.   They have found security and family at Salem Children’s Centre, but need sponsorship to provide food, clothing and hope for a future education.

Eric and Kizza are more examples of success in Uganda through our child sponsorship program. And Joseph and Ibrahim are two of dozens of children who have been identified by the community as needing assistance. Their opportunities in life will be greatly improved with the help of God’s Love and the encouragement and financial provision from True Impact Ministries and our sponsors.  Each child’s story is unique, but they all want a future, which can be provided through sponsorship with True Impact Ministries.

We hope you have been praying about sponsoring a child and sharing our message.  We trust and know that God will provide.

Our special request, that doesn't cost a penny, is to ask you to share this message with your friends and family.  Let them know of the good things True Impact Ministries is doing in Uganda and the need for more sponsors.  Give them the opportunity you were given to help us in our mission to see children and widows in Uganda know and FEEL God's Love personally.
