<<First Name>>

It is one thing to consider how God came into a broken world, but another to live in daily awareness of just how much we remain in need good news. This year finds us with a fundamental Advent longing as we strain to remain in joyful hope, to keep alert to how God might be working for our good.

We are grateful to all of you who remain in contact with us as together we explore what it means to grow in faith; may we make a hope for the grace God sends us in these days and be generous in sharing it.

A Dhia a chónaigh inár measc, noctaigh dúinn conas a tá tú fós linn.

Care for all
All in Manresa wish you many blessings now and in 2021, when we hope to be able to share and celebrate them together.

  Christmas Gifts from Manresa

While the Studio (Ignatian Corridor Room 10) has fallen quiet, the talent (Aileen, Mary, Mike and Brendan) is taking a break and the crew (Piaras) considers the next production, there is a selection of seasonal video content avaialble for your persual. Don't let the 'Advent' tag put you off if you find time in the coming days to visit or revisit some of the content available to take some time to avail of our current retreat or to reflect on the themes offered in the reflections. This may also be a suitable time to follow the Being at Home with Mary retreat.
 Daily Mass

We have been glad to be able to welcome people to our daily mass at 12:15 throughout Advent. Given the restrictions recently announced in Ireland, we are happy to extend the invitation to join our Eucharist during the Twelve Days of Christmas. You can consult the calendar on the website to see when mass is available online from the Arrupe Chapel and to get the link to access it.

A New Year Labyrinth Walk

Care for all

Take some time to reflect prayerfully on 2020 and to consider how you might welcome 2021 by joining in a finger labyrinth walk.  All you will need is a labyrinth that you have printed out, one that you have created or a portable labyrinth of a kind that you can use while online.

Vigil for 2021 New Year

The New Year retreat has been a special time in Manresa for a number of years, appreciated as an opportunity to take some time to review and look ahead. We hope to hold something of the same space for you at this year’s end, inviting you to review and look ahead and to see in the New Year with some time for prayer, reflection and music.

A 'special edition' video meditation is in available for those who have enjoyed our monthly evenings of prayer for people in 12-step recovery. While it does not explicitly address the 12-step approach, anyone familiar with Manresa's 'Steps' eveings or retreats will welcome this reflection.
