Prerecorded December 27 Service Now Available

The video of a complete worship service presented by the Presbyteries of Northern New England and Boston with participation from across the PC(USA) is now available. All congregations are welcome to use it, and you are encouraged to spread word about it to others.

In order to make the video as easily accessible as possible, a page for it has been created on Boston's website. There you will find links to the the video on YouTube and Google Drive (where you can download the entire video), as well as the bulletin and texts to the hymns.

We hope you enjoy the service and find virtually worshiping together meaningful. We also want to offer a special word of thanks to our Communications Coordinator, Benjamin Chicka, for producing this video.

Reminder 1: Right now there's no cost to use Teladoc

Remind your employees enrolled in the PPO, EPO, or HDHP that Teladoc offers a convenient alternative to in-person doctors' appointments. Due to the COVID-19 emergency, all copays, deductibles, and coinsurance when using Teladoc are currently waived. The Board will re-evaluate this decision every 30 days.

Reminder 2: Don't lose it, use it

Remind your employees to use up their flexible spending accounts (FSAs) by the end of the year. While up to $550 remaining in a healthcare FSA can roll over to next year, any unused money still in a dependent care FSA at the end of the plan year will be forfeited.

Reminder 3: Employees should use their new ID cards

Employees enrolled in the PPO, EPO, or HDHP for 2021 will receive new prescription ID cards from Express Scripts and new medical ID cards from Highmark. Remind your employees to use their new cards when filling prescriptions or visiting healthcare providers in 2021.

Legacies

Did he know that the stable
he found for his girl
would stand starlit forever?
Did she sense that the manger
that cradled her child
would resound across centuries in song?
Could they guess that their headlong dash
from the fields would be told,
then retold, then retold?
Would they ever have dreamt their long
star trek might end up portrayed
in a myriad locations?
So take thought what you do
in this season of clear expectation.
There’s no telling just where
or with whom it will end.
