Merry Christmas from Awake

Since our successful first Courageous Conversation two weeks ago, our planning team has been hurrying to settle the details for our next event.  I am happy to share that everything came together perfectly; we have a powerful gathering scheduled for January 21st, featuring three brave women who have been instrumental in revealing abuse by Catholic composer David Haas. Please scroll down for all the information, as well as the link to register. You won't want to miss it.

(If you're too busy with Christmas preparations to think about this today, no worries - We'll send a reminder again in January.)

The Awake team is taking some time off to celebrate with our families and refresh our spirits, so there will be no Awake newsletter or blog post next week. We'll be in touch again in the new year!

Wishing you comfort and joy - this Christmas and always,

Sara Larson
Executive Director, Awake Milwaukee

Blog Post - Celebrating Prophetic Voices
in Today’s Church

“Our work at Awake is inspired by people like these, who made brave decisions to speak up. Each of us received the same baptismal call to be a prophet, and we encourage fellow Catholics to consider: how might you, too, join the chorus of prophetic voices?"

 Please Join Us In Prayer

Thank you for your continued commitment to uniting with Awake through prayer.

This week, would you please pray for all survivors and their family members who struggle with grief, loneliness, anger, depression, difficult memories, or other pain during this Christmas season?

Come Lord Jesus, come.
